The MBA.. the jobs will be there once you finish with your education but the time spent expanding your educational proficiency, experiences and network will only last so long. Invest in yourself.

Well, what do you want to do post MBA?
What are your long term goals? How does the MBA fit in? ROI?
Congrats on Columbia! 🥂 that’s the long term investment I’d make :)
If you feel the opportunity cost is high then consider part time at booth or Kellogg and ask the company to pay. I’m currently at $230k and doing Kellogg accelerated part time.
Haha you must be fun to work with.

Columbia 100%, those MetLife jobs will always be there
Well there are a few things you first need to figure out your career goals. What you want to do. Then you can decide if the MBA is what you need to achieve it. Also talk to the people at MetLife about your career goals and getting an MBA. They maybe open to you getting your MBA after working there for a couple years and may help pay for it. If they offer a plan for you to work for them and get it take the job if they don’t seem supportive of it and just want to work at this level turn it down if you decide you want the MBA and can’t achieve your career goals without it
What would be your purpose for getting the MBA is the question to ask yourself
Columbia hands down
Columbia 💪
See if you can postpone your enrollment and work there for a year.
You will be way more competitive with an extra year of investment experience from MetLife under your belt, as opposed to not having it when you apply for internships and apply for post MBA jobs.
