I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Any advice for companies to apply to or with getting an offer despite not having as many years experience as others?

Have you been directly in touch with recruiters/managers? I’ve found success by directly reaching out to members of the hiring team on LI. Short introduction followed by why’d you be a great addition to the team had gotten me a couple interviews. Good way to separate yourself from the people that just easy apply by sending a resume.

dont give up keep applying you’re closer than you think

A) Put a spreadsheet together of every salesperson you know who does what you do. B) Ask them to connect you (via LinkedIn Messenger, email, text) to all the headhunters who are hitting them up with new job opportunities. The reason is that the large majority of people who headhunters target are not looking for a job. If they do communicate with the headhunter and tell her/him they're not looking, the next question the headhunter asks is "do you know anybody good?". You want to be that person.

I suggest you reach out directly to recruiters or referrals. It would be easier and faster that way. Good luck.

I was floating for 4 months. Jobless and can't even get myself invited for an interview because of the same reason. I went to conventions and conferences where I meet lovely and helpful people from sales. They introduced me to different people and one of them is my current employer. Never stop never give up.

If you aren't getting a lot of bites it might be time to update your resume. Sometimes just tweaking a few things here and there can really help. I would highly suggest having your resume professionally optimized.

My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk). How do I leverage that to avoid a pay cut. Also, any tips from people in this position?
