Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

WOULD A DRINK HELP?
By going back in our own drinking histories, we could show that years before we realized it we were out of control, that our drinking even then was no mere habit, that it was indeed the beginning of a fatal progression.

Two weeks is pretty low for an agency, even entry level. If you need the time now, I’d ask about the ability to borrow from next year or take unpaid leave.
Bring up your ask of more leave at your next review. If that doesn’t work, ask about opportunities to work from home which would at least give you some flexibility to travel on Mondays/Fridays, even if you’re still working.
Awesome. Will definitely bring it up then! My boss does allow us to WFH but prefers everyone in office at all times... but let’s hope for the best. Thanks!!
Yeah that’s low I got three weeks after one year
Yeah 3 weeks feels nicer, let’s see what I can do!
It’s 2 weeks and becomes 3 after 5 years. With start up culture and companies competing to offer more time off, I definitely hoped for more. Given that I’m so new, would anyone suggest me talking to someone whether it’s my boss or HR about buying time off or something? They recently started summer fridays so they are striving to make changes but it’s becoming a bit stressful because I have like 5 different Indian weddings (which means 3-5 days of events). I know this sounds a bit bratty but I was genuinely curious if anyone had any advice or guidance or if I should just keep my mouth shut and look for a new job when I feel it a lot more?
Oh and side note: the parent company who owns us gives their employees the option to buy time but from what I know, my company doesn’t have that option.
