Without negotiating it seems like Tech pays more, is that true? Or can I still negotiate more with CPG companies?

I get the vibe a lot of women in the consulting world are bisexual. 🧐 At the end of a client dinner tonight a married partner (female) started to get aggressive and a little too touchy. I pushed her off and said see you in the morning. Im conflicted, reach out to HR or let it go. The whole encounter was unprofessional and inappropriate.

J1 & J2 together make about 200k although there is no room for growth in either but WLB is amazing (< 10hrs per week). Stuck contemplating if I should abandon overemploy to chase promotions seeing that I could eventually get to my current salary with my job. Just feeling a little stuck over all. I know many consultants most likely make more. Any one else feel this way or have any thoughts? I was thinking of looking for a different J1 and slowly try to climb up if possible.

It's an experienced hire for an SC role. I saw the posting is still open atm, and my guess is that the recruiting team is comparing candidates since competition is higher due to recent layoffs.

Just here to vent that I feel severely disadvantaged for being a POC with partnership aspirations my firm. I've seen much younger white associates in my practice group get to go on client pitches, and as an nearly 7th year associate, I haven't been invited to go on a single one (even after voicing concerns about this to the partners in my group). I do great work, bill a lot of hours, and think I have a solid reputation but it's hard not to read the writing on the wall here. :(

I joined NTT Data last September with CTC as 24 lpa, everything is fixed. They increased my CTC to 26.5 lpa during the last appraisal.
I having almost 12 years of exp with the skill set as Informatica(ETL), Sql & Unix Scripting. Is there any way my pakage can be raised with my current job itself(work environment here is good)??
