I interviewed with Amazon for a corp counsel role. After the debrief, I was told the hiring manager would like me on the team but as an ACC, and I should hang tight for a few more days before they give me a decision. Today, I was informed the HM passed but is recommending me for another ACC role on a different team. I’m worried I’ll end up with no offer after initially thinking I was getting one. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello Fishes, I recently got an offer from EY with Senior Con - 3 designation (band 4). Yoe is 7 years. (BE Tier 2+MBA Tier 1)
My mba batchmates who had got placed at Deloitte and PwC 5 years back, where made Sen Con two years ago and are now at Manager position.
My question- Am i offered the correct designation according to my profile? when would I be made manager at EY India? Please provide your insight.

Why is this place (bowl) really silent?
Hello everyone,
I will be joining EY India by the end of this week in the PAS Workforce Advisory. The HR told me that it's going to be WFH for some time and wasn't very clear on when the offices might resume.
Can anyone please give me a pessimistic and optimistic estimation of when we might be required to move back to office?
I need to move to a different city, so it would be really helpful if you guys could support me with this input.
Thanks
If you have some other offers in hand don't join EY. They mostly ask you to report to client location to save office space. Projects are short term so every 6-7 months you will need to report to new office which may happen in different cities some cases. Try to join some main stream IT companies rather then Big4s, Big4s are very new in IT and don't own much end to end project so they work more like a staffing company and provide clients with talent. So let's you are a Java guy they will pitch you to a client and then client will take your interview based on that if client agrees they will assign you to him. So you won't be having much connect with EY or your manager in EY. Most of the time the project that EY gets are POCs or some low level support.
True and adding to that there is no life so work life balance is zero. I have seen people going to client office at 9 am sharp and leaving the office next morning 5 am. You will have to work till night. 8 hrs a day is a lie. My work life balance is completely destroyed. And the sad part is even managers, senior managers and partners will not do anything about it because it is you when it comes to taking ownership of the things that are not done and it is them when a project's timeline is met. I have never been that sad but after joining EY, I totally regret my decision.
