What role were you interviewed for? Did the recruiter mention anything about sending your interview packet to the HC after your on-site interviews?

This may be two different things. There’s a new process called green light or something that skips Hiring Committee if you have very specific criteria met. You might be going straight to comp committee. Worth clarifying which committee you’re being reviewed by.

I have never heard of someone not making it past HC. It’s a once a week meeting where they spend a couple seconds on your app, interview and resume then give the nod. They may go back to the hiring manager to ask additional questions if something looks off. Mostly a formality.

I’ve worked here for several years and know people who sit on HC. I personally also got an additional interview when I went through HC because there was not enough data, so they do read packets thoroughly

Had a very similar experience and similar reaction after reading about HC. My guess is you’re golden and you’ll hear back in a day or two (what happened to me).

Anybody else over working in the rat race altogether? I’ve jumped around a few times in the last 5 years, improving my comp and aligning more to my strengths and interests, yet I’m still unfulfilled. I’m pretty much doing exactly what the last 20 years of being in consulting has prepared me for: advising clients at the highest levels - and I’m bored. I’d love to leave and take up a more creative job, but of course, that doesn’t pay the bills - anybody think of, or actually made that transition?

Transitioned into consulting post-MBA (1.5 years ago) and generally enjoyed the experience. Since I joined my comp has gone up ~13% and I’ve liked my project teams but in my most recent review talk my partner told me he thought I was ready to be promoted and had advocated for me but there was an HR rule against it and I was on-track to be promoted in 6 months. Since then I’ve learned that one of my classmates (started 2-3 months before me due to COVID) was promoted last cycle.
