Ya I have seen many people in my team who have been here for 10- 15 years too.
Optum is all about favouritism and while a few folks keep getting promoted every year, others keep slogging for years without any growth. Sad but true

Seems like senior manager is pretty frustrated with current situation. Not every team is like that though !
thats pretty much true, its really difficult to get promoted here
Favourites get it easily
We definitely have few negative things here which I can’t deny but these are common across any organisation. Per my experience if you are focused on your goal by bringing your top game and have good repo with peers, partners & leadership then definitely promotion is not impossible to get. Doesn’t matter if you are working hard or smart but at the end of day that should translate to a value add for your project/organisation.
Optum hires a ton from ISB. Almost 4-6 every year. And as we all know; ISB’s FT ranking is better than all IIM’s (A, B, C included)
