I graduated last month with a MA in political science from UChicago. I have no education/internships in business, however started two businesses by the age of 23 and have 7+ yoe as an independent consultant.

I’ve been applying since May/June for jobs and I am struggling to get an interview with MBB and B4, yet alone an offer. I was hoping to lateral my consulting experience into MBB/B4 to gain experience in finance. I haven’t been denied by most but haven’t gotten an invite to interview.

Anyone in Big 4 health (payer) consulting practices have any insight in to current or upcoming openings for SM level roles?

Has anyone else worked two programming roles at one time?
I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. I definitely could use the extra paycheck to help out with my financial obligations. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.

This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue??
