I graduated with a BA in Political Science in 2009 and worked as a Financial Analyst and in Investor Relations after undergrad while completing my MBA. One thing led to another and now I find myself at EY for over four years working financial services focused compliance engagements... I want to get (back?) on the FP&A career path. Any advice? You think I’d need to start at the bottom of the FP&A totem pole?

Hi all, has anyone in supply chain taken one of the certification exams? (CPSM, CPSD, CSCP) Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? I was thinking might be a good way to strengthen my resume (most of my career in investment analysis) but not really sure if it really brings that much value. Hot take: consultants at MBB have big egos and seem to promote the idea that they're the "best of the best" not realizing that, in 2021, the "best of the best" works in "tech" typically as engineers and consultants are actually just overworked also rans with oversized egos.

Went thru a 2 month recruiting process with MCK and learned I will not be getting an offer. Any advice for getting an interview for the next recruiting cycle? 2 YOE, no mba, currently an associate at KPMG and up for promo this year.

How is second (one year) MBA from ISB, IIM B, IIM A for a professional who is currently earning 20 LPA and has 5 years of work experience? Previous B school is among the top 40 in the country. Porking an intern?

Handling peers: I work with a colleague who will try to prove she is the final boss. For example: in meetings she will wait to see what I speak and then summarize them using different words, collect information from me and then present it to leadership and eventually become Go To person for all updates. Try to get into all activities to show that she’s on top of everything, try to be communicator on all things, cut me in meetings. Leadership enjoys the in group fighting to keep everyone in check

D is eating me alive. I’m so stressed by D, I can’t even pursue my personal goals anymore. Was approached by Mck, turned it down because it was a low role and lower pay and they don’t work in my specialization. The recruiter is interested in pushing me to something higher but I’m mentally fried and can’t imagine prepping cases and adding interview stress to my already 12 hr days and weekly migraines. Have also dropped the ball on my side business and education goals. I’m the project linchpin 😩
