I graduated with a master's degree in Dec 2021 and have been struggling to find a job since then. I have been referred to a graduate program at PwC recently but at the time I did not know of adding more keywords in the resume to get through the ATS so I was wondering if I'll be selected with a basic resume.

Referral would only ensure Human Resources picks up and reads your resume, the odds of which are very low if you simply apply on the website. But beyond that it really is you, your resume and your interview.
The dumb masters. The high cost with all the promise of doors opening. I was in the same boat. Felt I needed it and I still think it is necessary because so many people are getting it and on paper, you might get passed up without it. I’ve found that outside of networking, it doesn’t really help you get a job. All I can recommend is network, network, network. You’ll find something. It may be a lower level than you hoped (or what the program sold) but once you’re in, you’ll eventually get the opps. For me, it’s been over 5 years (3 years since graduating) to finally get to where I hoped I would be. Don’t give up and don’t settle.
