I have a daily “competition” to see whether I’ll be made more mad by de Blasio or Cuomo on any given day. I think today went to BDB, because his policing the bridges to keep out Pennsylvanians idea is doomed to be a waste of taxpayer money and sheriff’s deputies’ time. It’s also worth noting that I am a Democrat, so this isn’t some partisan schtick.

Am I being too sensitive? New colleague shared that moving to the US has been a cultural change (understandably) because when she “grew up Dubai, where the only time she interacted with Asian people were the maids and cooks”. She hasn’t been outright rude but the way she talks to me is overbearing & as if she’s above me. I push back since we are the same level but I get the sneaking suspicion that she’s a racist

Hi guys, I joined Deloitte USI last week on 21st. I haven't received my salary yet and the payroll portal says no slips to show. Am I not supposed to get the salary today? What is the cycle like? I an totally confused. The helpline waiting time is like eternity!!! I got connected once after 35 minutes and the analyst just couldn't hear me!!! Anyone knows what could be the issue?
