I was on the first picture before I was married. After marriage, shifted a little on the second picture. After my first kid- the salary is still important, job title not that much. After the second kid and covid, free time has become so important 😣 Need time to take care of the young ‘uns and still make enough money.
Where was the OP for this pic? Someone I know sent this to me today too.

Definitely. I’d say right now (being in my late 20s), salary, liking what I do, and mental/physical health are big buckets, with the first 2 taking probably at least 40%. Probably as I get older/have a family, free time, mental/physical health, and liking what I do will take up more (25-30% each).

Late 20s, low 6 figures. So ideally by the time I’m in my mid 30s with a family, hopefully I’d be higher 6 figures but with more WLB to spend time with my family.
Does anyone interpret this as a reason to quit consulting? Because I don’t think you get the bottom pie chart if you work more than 45 hrs a week
