Why are you getting rid of the CRV? It's only 6 years old. Hondas can go 300,000+ miles easy
Btw I hate car payments
I've owned both. I now have Murano and love the interior space as well as the ride. The only major difference to the Rogue is that it's a 4 cylinder whereas the Murano is a 6 cylinder engine; this was a big deal for me. And you get way more second row and trunk space in the Murano versus the Rogue. The Murano also has nicer finishes if that's something you care about.
Never owned either, but based off of looks I would prefer the Murano.
Sounds like you don't have the CRV anymore. The new late model CRVs are very nice.
They actually can't. They start getting issues after 60,000 miles warranty. This is my 3rd Honda I've ever owned and I'm probably one of the most cautious drivers who doesn't go crazy on the road to cause problems so for me to say this is a huge deal. It's time to leave Honda and go elsewhere.
Honestly, not impressed with the new ones. I'm overall done with Honda and want something new.
I drove a Rogue for a month while my Honda was in the shop. Loved it. Not very strong, but a cute SUV. If you want more power and space, get the Murano
I have a rogue and love it! It's perfect for a coupe and fits my large dog/most things. If you have kids or need to carry a lot of stuff (like travel frequently) look into the murano since it's bigger etc.
As a passenger I hated both of these cars - I would get sick all the time! Especially on a back - I mean really car sick like when I was a kid. I drove both of them too - they suck. Save a little bit Longer and get yourself BMW - that's what I did. Drove a super old Subaru Forester for 6 yrs to buy brand new BMW 228i convertible for cash - best car ever, best decision of my life.
OP I didn't notice much of a difference. For reference, I currently drive 20 miles each way to work and fill up every Sunday for less than $40. If I don't run any other errands I can go a week and half before having to fill up. So very reasonable in my opinion.
By Sunday I usually have over a quarter tank of gas but I don't like to have less than a quarter tank at anytime. So I could go a week and a half on one tank but since my commute is so long, I try to avoid it.
@EY 1 - how did you feel about the gas mileage between the Rogue and the Murano? Do you feel as though you get roughly around the same with the Murano as you did with the Rogue?
That's very helpful! I'll definitely keep these in mind when I go to talk to a salesperson 😊 thank you!!
OP, you should test drive the Subaru's. Also, it's nearly unbelievable that you have owned 3 Hondas and have had issues with all at such low mileage. You have to get your cars serviced every 5,000 at the dealer. Do you live in cold winter area? I have owned my Toyota truck with 150k miles ZERO issues since brand new. Wife took her Toyota also 150k miles no issues, traded up to a bigger Toyota. Her sister now owns the previous car and has 175k miles, ZERO issues.
Rather get another Honda
I had my 2013 Acura TSX for 85k miles with no issues as well, only needed 1 new pair of tires and resurfaced rotors on front brakes. If I didn't total that perfect little car 2 weeks ago, would have easily been driving it until 250k miles... also hate car payments @SA1!
I love Honda. CRV especially. The three Nissans I've had all got rust issues and had to be disposed of before they got too old. I felt like my Honda would've gone forever except my wife made me trade it in because a twenty year old car made me look cheap. But if you're really done with Honda maybe try Subaru or Toyota before Nissan
Rogue alll dayyyy. Just as roomy and better on gas.
