1)In my current organization we had a portal where we can actually declare the investments that we are planning to invest the coming year. So that tax will not be deducted from April to December.
But during December they will ask for actual investments if we fail to do so then they will deduct the amount in jan,feb,march months.
Is it same in deloitte?

I am tired(or jealous) or hearing tier-2 grads getting hired with 20-30 LPA.

When I was switching in May, some HRs(from PwC and L&T) had told that they won't be able to continue with me, since my existing offer and expectation exceeded what they can offer for a 3y exp, which was mere 15 LPA though.

So, how do these freshers (not from NITs or IITs mind you) get hired before even getting out of the college or 1-1.5 year exps, get hired with upwards of 30 LPA? Where can I find such jobs?

If I want 70k take home, what should be my fixed pay?

I have 4 yrs of exp in Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, PLSQL, Unix and Autosys. I have been shortlisted for interview in Deloitte India. They are saying they will train me in cloud for 3 months and then I have to work in Deloitte for 12 months. In total there will be a bond for 15 months. Regarding designation I am not sure but most probably they will give me Consultant only. How much salary can I ask ? I am having an offer of 12 from Cognizant.

Earlier before pandemic the salary on an average was YOE x 2.5 means
5 yoe was 12.5 lacs appx and so on

Now it has just got increased by factor of 3 or 3.25 i.e. 8 year of work ex 8x3 = 24 -27 lacs

What do you think has led to this shift?

P.S : This is just a generalised observation. If you have different notion, it may be some availability bias.
