SOs salary negotiation: he was told the bonus is actually higher (still just a 2% jump or wobble from current job) and then he just froze and said "ok" not asking for a signing bonus etc. Really bummed now, and he is bummed that I'm bummed. And the company is probably happy with their underoffer. Does HR keep track of these information bits and does take this into account for next salary raise talks? As if you train for a marathon and ultimately just use one leg to wobble the whole race.

Any advice / coping mechanisms for dealing with anxiety? I’ve never been to a therapy but I want to start. Also thinking about getting more into yoga and meditation. What helps me currently is going on walks while listening to podcasts and doing breathing exercises.
