I had a really odd SECOND interview almost 2 weeks ago. (I posted about it in another bowl). Anywho, I was wondering why the interviewer came in with such a negative tone.. and it just hit me...AGEISM!! I'm not quite 40 but the more I think about it, that's definitely what it was. I have total 11 years of experience in IT (Enterprise applications:Oracle Weblogic) and 4 years in DevOps, Git, Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes. Currently working with Accenture India. Ps. When I followed up on candidacy they were still making decision for weeks. I let them know I had another opportunity hoping it would hurry them up and ended up not taking the other opportunity.
