I had a recruiter reach out to me on LinkedIn about a job at a big brand that wasn’t posted yet. Got rejected today after meeting with the hiring manager last week because I don’t have as strong a background in the “very specific” area the role requires as I guess other candidates. This job would’ve changed my life and career, and I never have recruiters reach out to me in the first place so really got my hopes up. Does this type of thing happen often? Feeling like 💩

Remember The Woo? Yeah, me neither. Well, they cut everyone’s pay (except mgmt of course) by 1/4 to get the small biz gov loan, and used it to hire a $500k/yr mgmt head. Agency still working barebones

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
