My experience is more focused in financial service and done few consumer products clients, but don't wanna do financial service anymore. The sr manager and partner interviewed me are all in financial service, does this mean I'm gonna be stuck in financial service again if I take the offer?

Hello ladies, does anyone have a great non-judgemental financial advisor in NYC? I’m 34 & found myself back to $0 & living paycheck to paycheck after some unfortunate life circumstances. I’m a late 40’s, 3rd year Partner in Big4 who joined as a DEMD after 2 decades in industry. I’m weighing an offer to join another Firm - it’s a straight comp play for 30% higher Comp for a similar role. I realize that the BS is mostly the same at all B4, so I don’t think for a second the grass is greener. But the comp is nice, and I’m not vested enough to lose much money. Did anyone here make a similar jump to another Firm, and in the end, was it a genius move, or did you come to regret it?

Became a manager this year. This is my experience so far. *Spends 5-7 days holding staff/seniors accountable and motivating them to help me meet the ridiculous deadline a Partner signed us up for and end up re-doing most of it overnight since they were so rushed and write a massive summary email and send to client with deliverable*. The client response “Thx will look soon. Sent from my iPhone”😅
