I got through all the rounds of interviews (including 2 technical panels) at CrowdStrike before being assured that I was nearing the end of the process and was expected to receive an offer soon… almost two weeks ago now? Anyone else experienced this kind of delay from CS or similarly sized organizations? Did I get ghosted? Anything more I should be doing?

So I’m about to start my interview process for Capital One next week for a Senior Financial Analyst position. My recruiter going give me a prep call on Friday but I wanted any advice that recruiters don’t tell you during the interview process. Also I wanted to ask if Capital One a decent place to work at. I will be working at the one in McLean Virginia if that helps.

No harm in reaching out, I had a similar experience and when I left a voicemail I didn’t hear back from HR until the next day. She apologized that someone gave me a date to look forward to because she had her own timeline due to having multiple candidates she had to make offers to but she gave me a window of when she would be contacting me to give me a final answer. Sure enough she called me within a few days (like she said she would) and offered me a position. Good luck, I know the hardest part of the interviewing process is waiting to hear back.
I’ve been told you can reach out to ask about their timeline and when they think they’ll make a decision because you just got an offer. It prob also depends when you have to let the other company know your decision. At my last interview they said I should let them know if things change for me. Good luck!

If you have a competing offer, let em know ASAP. If they like you, they can speed up their process to get you an offer.
Let em know they're your first choice, but you need to know where you stand before declining your other offer.
