Do HRs renegotiate at KGS after accepting offer?
I was being interviewed for a role and I asked what the hiring managers biggest challenge was and he said
"Filling this role. It's a buyers market and so I've interviewed the best of the best and now I'm talking to you"

RE: Project Coordinator 1
💯 Exactly! Match our pay with the cost of living instead.
I like to ask about whether people take their PTO, if you hear them talking about “fast-paced” environment that means people are constantly overwhelmed, if they can’t tell you what success in the position they’re hiring for looks like, if they say things like “you should have roll up the sleeves attitude” etc etc.
Any kind of vagueness should be viewed as a red flag. Seriously, why can't a straight answer be given?

Several years ago, I turned down a job offer because the manager had not turned up in a suit - nor was she particularly smartly dressed. She introduced me to 3 members of her team who all suits on. As I. … I had two interviews with her and she was the same both times. No apology, no explanation, and with a rather brusk style, I didn’t think she’d be the sort of person I’d want to work for.
Hiring people on the spot without doing any sort of background check or reference check. Speaking from experience, it never works out well for the employer.
If they rush you when you're responding to their questions.
If they're upset about you asking questions about the salary, work-life balance, disability accommodations, etc. It means they want someone who will be a loyal slave and they will never see you as a person
I just had a similar interview! It was a 30min interview with the ae & the lead designer. The ae spent 15 min of the interview talking about her career growth from the age of 18 (she’s closer to my age around 27). It was an odd interview. She also had not looked at my resume or my work prior which was upsetting to say the least.
A few years back I had a Recruiting Position Interview. And I was impressed with the building and the lobby. I thought "wow this place is nice'. Then the manager came in to interview me. first, she glanced at me. Then there was no more eye contact after that. In the middle of her 'questions" another lady knocked at the door and proceeded to walk in, and the manager went off. Like no hesitation. I was embarrassed for the other lady. When she snapped, I got scared hahahaaa. I turned down the offer.
woke ness! people that are not nice how d you feel when you walk in door/ I turned down a huge money job because they are woke I am all set doing better so listen to your inner self
The more they talk the less I talk. Love the chatty types in an interview!
I interviewed with a company that had a female plant manager. I have always been an HR professional with a seat at the table. I was asking my standard questions of why is position open? What is the number one employee relations issue today? Then I asked her to share their monthly and annual sales quotas? She was very offended by that and told me that we would not be discussing that. I thought it a fair question. Obviously, she didn't.
I had a senior leader during round 3 spend 28 minutes of a 30 minute interview telling me how hard they worked to change the culture of the company to make everyone feel appreciated and included. Never asked me a question, or allowed me to ask one. Didn’t look back
