I had covid last year with little/no symptoms and got 1st shot of pfizer with no symptoms except a sore arm and a tiny bit of swelling for a day. Was totally fine.
Not me but my boyfriends brother had covid and got the vaccine - he felt really ill that evening but was fine within a day or two. Apparently it can happen to those who have had it before.
That said, a friend had covid and got the vaccine was fine so who knows? 🤷🏻♀️
I recently had covid so delayed vaccine but my sister had covid and got Pfizer the day before it was being offered (first responder) and was totally fine. She had it within a month of testing positive for covid since they didn’t say anything at the time about waiting.
Was pretty sick with Covid in January and got the first shot last week. No symptoms outside a really sore arm and maybe a little more tired.
Me! Had bad covid in 2020. In a long covid study now. Took Pfizer. Both shots. Happy to dm. Had low grade fever, tired + headache. Manageable. 11/10 would do again.
My partner is a physician. He said if you had a bad case of covid, if you experience a reaction (normal “flu-like” side effects) from the vaccine, it will be after the first dose. If you’ve never had covid or a light case, you will experience the symptoms with the second shot.
