How do I launch an insurance agency?
Context: I just started a sales role 3 months ago State Farm. It’s my first time ever doing sales. Huge success so far, (nothing extravagant yet), but it’s only been 3 months. I’m currently selling 50+ policies a month.
I know sales isn’t everything it takes to start an Agency. Where should I try to pursue growth before starting an agency?

Yes...it seems to be a issue I have been encountering as well, as I started interviewing in the past couple months. I have been transparent with my salary parameters and went through rounds of interviews. Same role, skills, years of experience as my current role, but salaries almost $20-$40k less than I currently make.
What I found odd is that the recruiter and I were aligned on a salary for the role, and she confirmed the range that the number we spoke about was within the range. Is her email insinuating then, that I’m just too expensive?
I foolishly took my current role with a title and pay cut, after reaching an understanding with the recruiter that it would be adjusted once I had been at the company for a few months. Lesson learned, and it would appear that was just a line to get me in the door. I am now being extra careful and only accepting roles at my level of seniority and within the appropriate salary range.
