I had worked for HCA for years and have had a very bad experience working for them, especially this last 5 years. I no longer work for them, but really want to return to hospital nursing. I love being a nurse and the flexibility of 12 hour shifts but I want to work for a good employer, preferably a non profit healthcare system or a system that has a nurses union. Does anyone know of a good place to look for a job as an oncology/ med surg nurse?

So I got 2 offers, 1 at a well-known firm (that I previously worked at, not as an atty) that offered 80K plus full benefits (100% health coverage, PTO, sick days, discretionary bonus & 1800 billable req.) Their a little old school in their methods but I do see the younger gen. coming in to make changes. 2nd offer is at a newer firm however i’ve heard great things, and they offered 80k, unl. PTO, 1500 billable hours, bonus incentives qrtrly, & 50% health ins. WHY can’t I make a decision? HELP

Very close to receiving a job offer for a fast growin start-up company related to dental. It is located in SF which unfortunately is not Americas most expensive city to live in (I’d have to move there). Started pricing apartments and will need an offer of about $135k to qualify for housing but anything I find for a salary reference says the company plays about 95k in SF - how do I justify my experience and drive to the company to show my value or is that too big of a wage gap to bridge? I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out.
