Finally found a provider who listens and is helping me get ADHD controlled. Also diagnosed me w/anxiety. Treating w/Adderall and Wellbutrin, but she's telehealth so can't prescribe anymore. Was transfering Rx to my PCP under her guidance but my BP was high at my yearly (was a particularly stressful day at work, BP was normal the last 3 years). PCP won't coordinate care until I see a cardio. Anxious something will be wrong and I can't be treated for ADHD anymore 😩 anyone else here w/high BP?

Hr said they are giving me C1 band and they can match my current fixed offer of 27lpa with fixed and variable pay.

I asked for joining bonus. She will check for approval (my lwd 3rd June).


It's been 2 working days now, there is no update from HR on offer letter.

What do you miss/not miss in the agency world?

I joined a company very recently as a marketing director. We hired an agency to help with everything from branding to paid media and website optimization. We paused rebrand work because it was directionless. For paid media there wasn’t a brief, so I had my team put one together for the agency and we were very prescriptive with what we were looking for. The agency didn’t deliver and I’ve reached the conclusion they’re not a good fit for us. I’ve never cut ties with an agency. Any advice??

What’s your take on working along side a team in marketing but barely any of your team enjoy the social present, let alone having actual social accounts. I’m totally respect people who want to keep their personal life private, but not knowing what the hell is trending while holding a role that deal with social media contracts everyday and giving others opinions, that’s what I’ll have problem with. Thoughts?

Anyone also work in a traditional industry that has a hard time being innovative? I work at an energy company in the clean energy division and although my department is always looking to grow, we get a lot of pushback and red tape from corporate. Even the simplest things like jumping on social media trends get shut down. Or when they go through the 10 approvals, it’s no longer relevant content. Wondering how others have navigated this.

Any advice re: moving to in-house for coms from an agency, ideally with a focus on internal or corporate communications? I have a few years of agency experience and a very robust writing background. In-house roles seem harder to find than agency ones which I keep getting recruited for. I'm not 100% opposed to an agency, but all of mine have burned me out, and my friends doing in-house coms for big orgs seem to have much better work life balance, higher salary, & are overall much happier.
