I’m currently working as a Consultant (Staff) at EY and moving to NYC to study data analytics. My goal is to go work for some big tech (Microsoft hopefully) once I’ll have graduated in NY. Do you know how much $ I can expect considering I have 2 years of work experience (1 yr start up + 1 yr at EY) ?

Meh. Lots of pit bulls in my neighborhood, and they're all better behaved than my dog.
The breed is less tolerant of other dogs than most breeds, so it's not the kind of dog you can let run wild in the dog park with no oversight. With that said, it's the owners responsibility to know their dogs and knowledge pit bull owners don't let their dogs do this. They're extremely kind to humans and a well socialized pit bull poses no more of a risk to humans than a golden retriever.
@EY1 you couldn't be more wrong. You sound very uneducated on the subject. Pit bulls are like any other dog, there are plenty of loving pit bulls raised by loving owners.
In fact the far majority of animal experts will disagree 100% with your statement. Maybe you should educate yourself and try to be a little less angry.

Everyone calm down - it is quite obvious that EY 1 is an individual who doesn't understand two important things: (1) anecdotal evidence; and (2) that dogs are typically a product of their owners' training. Just remember that you shouldn't argue with idiots because from a distance people can't tell who is who.
You're misguided here. The number of out of control pits is not a breed issue, it's a person issue. Those dogs have not been raised by responsible owners. There's no correlation between violence and well raised pits.

The best statistic from the article is that you are FAR more likely to die from eating a hot dog (1 in 3,000) than dying from a dog bite (1 in over 100,000). Should we ban hotdog now? Someone call Hebrew National!

How about you link some of these stats that you claim. Also I know for a fact you didn't even read the huffpost article based on your "liberal ass huffpost" comment. That article actually gives statistics and gives references. More than you have given. Side note you must be weak for a big dude. My sister owns a pit and can control him just fine.

Don't get me started on this rant. I've done my research and I've seen plenty of videos of people getting mauled by uncontrollable pits. 68% of dog attacks in the US are pits. There are too many irresponsible people to own a dog that was born to fight. It's absurd that we don't have a ban on that breed. I love dogs, just not the ones that could kill me or my loved ones. Imagine your mom getting mauled to death while she was out walking her dog. Would you still be ok with the breed running around?
