I have $13 in store credit for Kmart, and I want to use it. Not sure what to buy. Any suggestions?

They used to have a deli and my grandma thought they had the best ham. She used to make ham sandwiches on English muffin bread. But ya, buy socks or condoms. 🤷🏼‍♂️

For that amount, don't dwell on it too much. Give it to a homeless person and make their day

And yeah I get that it’s Kmart and there are a lot of self-evident jokes to be made. Hoping to get real suggestions.

Give it to someone that needs the $13. Or get some food to give the hungry. Or clothe someone that has a bunch of holes in their clothes or needs some gloves

Snacks

Something non-perishable they can’t easily screw up and you won’t have to return. Snacks is as good an option as any if unexpired.

I feel like I’m missing something here lol

Something consumable like toiletries, kitchen things, or brand snacks that you already purchase

Rant: I finally got a baby registry started and sent the link to family... and immediately was told all the things I need on there that I don't have (including things I'm opting to just NOT GET, like an electric pump - why is my nursing preference up for debate????). I hate it already. I'm tempted to take it down, buy it all myself and just tell people to start a college fund if it bothers them.

I'm 38, have had 4 miscarriages and the PRESSURE OF THIS PREGNANCY is unreal.

Hello Gang, Trying to evaluate a offer I just received. The offer need to relocated from Minneapolis to Palo Alto area. Tech company. HR roles(title downgrade). YOE 6. Base comp is 125k with 10% bonus and 15k RSU. Not sure if this is enough for married couples, early 30 no kid but plan to have family. Total house hold pretax 250k. We feel this might not be enough from the post we see. Should we make the move? Though please

What are your thoughts about having to take an iq/personality assessment tests? It seems so outdated to me. I don’t think it predicts how you will truly perform at a job. I took a test like this for a startup once and they were concerned about my ability to speak up or behave in social settings. This was completely false. I present, interview clients, demo products, and facilitate meetings for a living. So what if I go home and shut down after work? I’m exhausted from speaking all day!

Currently not saying much in meetings. This is only my 2nd project in tech consulting and I really feel like I don’t have much to add in meetings.
