I have 13 years in healthcare, primarily in Radiology (brief stint in Chiropractic), medical billing & coding, and medical assisting. 5 of those years are in management.

Curious to see how this would be transferable to overseas, specifically Europe. It’s an idea that my bf and I have been throwing around for a couple years, and I’m starting to think I could go back to school to help that possibility become reality.

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

I'm currently a senior medical secretary, 2 years of experience, at a well know hospital with a BA in psych and econ and a certificate in PM (thought I would at least get that since my job pays for it). EY folks, when filling out the LCA assessment to update your hole address did you add a work location for each of your clients i.e. basically add your home address multiple times for each client you are assigned to in order to provide the information re days on site, engagement partner, engagement manager? It seems like I'm being bombarded with constant rejection emails without even being contacted for an interview and just solely based on online applications.

My highest paying job wont let me change schedules what should I do. I have 3 jobs. Job 1 is $57,008 a year job 2 is 23/hr job 3 is 22/hr job 1 and two are full time. Job 2 is very flexibly schedule as I’m home based. But I like job one but they won’t let you change your schedule until month 6 as it is considered a new position. They did not tell me my real schedule until after training and it’s causing a lot of depression working overnight on the weekend… what should I do?
