If you’re interested in the Tech side, I can put you up for Blue Yonder / JDA. We’re hiring like crazy right now

like

I am interested.

If you are focused on WMS, which systems? The Big4 firms tend to focus primarily on SAP and Oracle which for the needs of a 3PL is generally insufficient, especially if you are integrating with controls systems in more automated settings. Your functional knowledge may not necessarily be as well applied there versus a Tompkins or Fortna, or going to Manhattan, Blue Yonder or product role at a software company.

I have a union position as a therapist. My management kept telling me "we're working on it" when I asked about a raise since getting my LPC. Our union contract does not renew until 7/1 of next year. I brought this to my supervisors attention and now the director emails me to say basically "yes, we are working on a raise but nothing can happen until 7/1/2022". Has anyone else had this experience? Of management being vague and just stringing people along?

New fish looking for career guidance. I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation. I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm. Has anyone here started off in recruiting and branched out to other HR functions? Do you like your new role? Do you wish you stuck with recruiting?

At a T2 and have an offer for boutique consulting role at 150K base + 20-30% bonus. Remote but live in T2 city e.g., Miami. Also in final round with FAANG for a procurement manager role in a T1 city at 140-150K TC (includes RSUs and bonus) + an unknown sign on. WLB iffy. I like both roles equally the same but know FAANG is god's gift to exit opps for us. Am I crazy by turning down invite to do lengthy final rd interview day at FAANG to pursue boutique consulting and the certainty of $$?

I just had my first annual performance review meeting with my manager this past Friday. She had nothing but good things to say about my work, effort etc. thus far. After that she indicated a raise of a little less than 3%. Is this something I can counter? Should companies be giving raises that are at least at the percentage of the inflation rate (Being ~ 6% this year)? I appreciate any feedback!
