I don’t focus on dividends but only total return. Dividends don’t really do much but let you pay more tax, assuming this is in a taxable brokerage account.

Especially when the dividends are automatically reinvested

No issue with reinvested dividends unless you want the income in cash. To other posters point, you could always liquidate shares/fractional shares and get whatever cash you want out of overall return.
