I have 2.7 years of total experience. I have joined Tibco in March. Previously I was working in production support so I prepared and cleared Java Interview and joined Tibco with 9LPA. I was told that I will be given work on Java but given work on their product EBX. But I want to work on Java. Also I feel underpaid and I have a loan to complete. So I am thinking to leave by end of this year. Please help me what should I do?

I’ve been an in house photographer for a mid size women’s clothing brand (500+ stores & ecomm) for over 5 years and shoot everything from on/off fig ecomm, flatlays, and campaigns. I’m the only staff photographer - freelancers get booked for the holes we need to fill on any given day. I currently make 60k. I’ve just been asked to take charge of our ecomm - oversee the freelance photographers & retouchers, art direct ecomm, and continue to shoot. Is 98k too much to ask?

I was tentatively hired for this WFH compliance role at Edward Jones, pending a background check. During the interview process, recruiter stated that the salary range would be 85-95k. So when it came to discussing salary, Recruiter offered 85k. I stated that I would like to request 90K. Recruiter told me that everyone gets 85k. Many might not (including me) be very good at DS/Algo but strong in domain knowledge, design patterns etc.

Thoughtworks is one such company two don't focus extremely on DS/Algo.
