Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

I think it’s essentially to reemphasize your interest in the company but that it’s also a monetary decision and you also have an offer from x for y and would like to talk about negotiating comp.
If there’s one that you much prefer, consider giving a “give me this amount and I’ll sign tomorrow”
I agree with SM1, that strategy can be a bit tricky. You should really weigh your options based on the whole package not just the money
I think just informing them that you have an offer from another company for X amount and salary is really important right now will add pressure for them to offer you more without being too blunt or direct about it. Definitely consider the whole package like everyone else said, but it sounds like you are in a situation where you can leverage the back and forth to improve your offer even more.
Yooo I'd definitely come to a conclusion for yourself as to which company you'd be HAPPIEST with. Money won't create stability in your day to day operations. Once you have that decision for yourself, you can more confidently negotiate based on that

I was going to say the same thing. Pick the one you like the best and use the fact you have another offer to negotiate. The salary is really only part of what makes a job good or bad.
