I have 3.5 years of experience as Data Engineer. I have got two offers which are of same comp.
Quantiphi- Data Engineer generic role WFH
IBM GBS- Datastage developer (ETL tool) hybrid Pune

Which company should i join. I am thinking quantiphi as it has better exit opportunities (thinking to switch after 2 year) than IBM and as in IBM its a tool based job market might be limited but IBM as job security and better WLB?
I have one more question is quantiphi wlb manageable?
@quantiphi @IBM

Your current tech stack in data engineering?

Yes IBM probably will have better WLB and Quantiphi is unfortunately known for poor WLB. Though learning, exposure to data engineering and hence exit opportunities should be pretty good in Q. They are heavy on GCP.

Has anyone left to go to a startup/early stage company? I’m interviewing for a role I’m excited about at a company that is aligned with my values and the chance to do finance and operations (I’m in audit, new senior). I’m nervous about making the leap from big 4 with an established culture and generally stable employment to what is essentially a giant question mark. What are some good questions or indications to get a sense of if it’s a going to be a good opportunity or a total mess?

With 5 years and 8 month of experience which designation can I expect from Infosys and what is the max salary offered at this designation.
Note- 3 month notice period also needs to serve beyond this 5.8 experience so total experience at the time of joining will be around 6 years.

Boston SFA 5 years exp (Corporate finance). My research shows 110-120k for comp range. Does that sound right to others here?

Hi! I’ve been a voluntary benefits agent with a few different carriers for 5 1/2 years. I’m currently the AE for 75+ accounts. I am completely burnt out on prospecting for new groups and wish to transition into a career without sales quotas. Could be in insurance or another industry. My favorite part of my role now is educating/counseling people on benefit options. I’m wondering if there are others who’ve been in the same boat. Open to any suggestions!
