You need to prove your value by building a book first. At the same time, network with the top producers and find out who shares similar philosophy/style with you, who you get along with, then maybe you can get into the possibilities of working together. You have to somehow convince the top producers that you are worth their investment and clearly demonstrate you can add value.
I want to provide value to a top producing advisor and obviously pull my weight with bringing in business but how do I convey this without sounding like a thirsty kid?
