Need some guidance. My brother and I both have had major struggles with depression and anxiety due to our childhood. This past spring, he attempted to take his own life by ODing on designer benzos that he had bought on the internet. It turns out he had been taking them for years. I had noticed some odd behavior (erratic movements, inappropriate sleepiness, slurring words) over the past year, but we didn’t know he was using those drugs until we found him almost dead. Why have unions become so powerless in recent years? A decade ago, the collective bargaining units would get wage increases that matched or exceeded inflationary growth. Now we are lucky to see any positive integer offered.

Realistically, if they are merely securing my job for $100/month they are not providing value! I can protect my own job, AND pay for a decent retirement with that money saved.

My old agency is soon going to be releasing work that was originally my art director and my idea - got laid off during COVID. It probably has changed since we left, but can we still ask to have our names on the project?

Need advice please: Have you ever applied to a role on LinkedIn or ZipRecruiter, see that your application gets downloaded, or even get a “thumbs up” on ZipRecruiter, and then they don’t reach out to you for so much as a 10 minute phone screen? Is there anything I can do to get them to respond to me? I’ve tried reaching out to the hiring managers, job posters etc. and no luck! 😞

As a remote worker, I feel like I'm not getting enough recognition for my contributions because no one was physically there to see them or talk about them with me directly.

Any advice on how to communicate with a team who’s too busy and you’re still new to FDD (4-5 months in) ? Communication is just summarized into to do lists by email, ask to get it done and provide updates. But I have so many questions when I go through tasks, as I’m still learning how to do my job… ?! And if I make mistakes after they review, they just provide negative feedback.
