Check out Nearpod, they have a bunch of SEL lessons! We use them all the time at my school!

They have great lessons. The one on identity could be good.

If your district has a basis for SEL material to refer to that’s a good place to get some ideas! I agree w/ all other comments as there are so many helpful material out there!! Classroom dojo has good material too! They have different topics to choose from, a fun animated vid, class discussion and extension activities! It’s also FREE and easy to use! I’ve used it for my 4th/5th graders and there’s always a lesson to learn for all!!

5/9 check-in!! 🥳 happy Monday y’all Did an hour of tennis lessons today in beautiful weather. Def need to work on cardio and go running more so I don’t feel like dying halfway thru the lesson. Also struggle with being sedentary in air conditioned home all day to intense tennis in the sun. Need to figure out how to transition better.

Anybody else feel like we’re getting a real time history lesson in the madness of crowds and a market bubble for the ages? Literally all indicators of a massive bubble are there: 1. Prices totally out of sync with assets and driven on news and stories 2. Flood of unsophisticated retail investors 3. Easy and cheap money and low interest rates (there is no alternative) 4. Feelings that the government won’t or can’t let this fail 5. Plus a couple new ones - nihilism (doge) and lockdown boredom

Anyone using Prodigy, IXL, or other online programs? We are using iready in our district as a diagnostic but the lessons seem to be boring for the kids.

Are you lesson planning with other grade level teachers or alone?

Our school instituted a district wide 50% floor/grading policy. If you give a student an assignment and they do nothing, not even write their name, or turn in a blank sheet of paper, they get a 50%. If they score less than 50% on a quiz or test, we have to mark it up to a 50%. This is the new norm and is causing kids to not do work, or just the bare minimum. It has taken the joy out of teaching and has taken away the accountability of students. Anyone else facing this? What do you do?

Starting all over again! All of my life I have been fighting my weight. I lose 20, gain 30. Lose 30, gain 40. So, I am starting again. I have my meal plan in place, started walking again, and scheduled a nutritionist for next week. Hoping against hope that this is the final time I have to learn this lesson.

Would a guy lie about having sex with you? I drank too much last week and I can't recall going all the way with the guy. He said we didnt have sex a month ago (first time put together) but I clearly remember feeling different the next day and then he said we did a week ago when we went out again but I don't recall it at all. I obviously learned my lesson about not drinking too much to avoid these situations and questions -.-

Guess the lesson here is to carry Trump flags and the police won't pepper spray you.

Started TTP full course. Still working my way through the Essential GMAT Quant Skills module and it’s nearly been a week. It has 48 lessons. I see later modules have anywhere between 18-90+ lessons. I feel like I’m going so slowly.
