I have a B.Tech degree and 11 YOE. Currently working as a software architect with a CTC of around 30LPA... Should I take an MBA now? What value would it add?

But if you also want to go for a higher pay, you can go for an MS in US. And based on your experience, you getting a good job shouldn't be difficult. Cost might be similar (30l for ABC and 40l for ISB Vs 45l for MS in US) But the US guys will value your experience and you could easily get a role in 130-140k(min in big cities) based on ur tech experience. But it might be a solid tech role.. continuation of what you do in India. You might need to consider other factors like family, kids, etc.

Almost none in terms of 1st salary post MBA, and I am considering Executive MBA from IIMs-ABC, not regular MBA But it will help you some years down the line in your career, because it opens the path to managerial/director level roles, say 50lpa+ bands which MAY be difficult in a tech role (I am dead wrong here because many product companies pay much higher at tech arch levels)

Do executive MBA don't go for full time. Not worth it when your salary is already high

I don't see any point in doing mba now.. however if you're aiming for cxo suite in future, an mba might offer some edge.. btw just for my knowledge, is this 30 lpa fixed or the fringe benefits included that sap offers e.g. the amount for higher education etc

TTC is more like fixed plus variable.. SAP adds whole lot of other fringe things to CTC such as meals, travel, higher education expenses etc.. these usually hover above 6+ lpa

What's the average historical percentage bump to manager from MBA Sr. Associate at PwC?

Hey hive mind! A headhunter reached to me about VP/SVP/Director opportunities at AlixPartners in EI or Cyber. A previous BAH executive referred him to me as a candidate. I’ve been in advisory and consulting for 10 yrs, am a Sr Mgr/Mgr type now, no MBA, have certs in cyber and management. AP seems great. I like cyber well enough but am not married to it. Two questions: 1) Thoughts on AP business and culture, and 2) Thoughts on which AP level I would be aligned to? Thank you!!
