Let her be. She is a baby and you have to understand her perspective of visitors is completely different from yours. Comfort her, keep up regular routines if possible, interact with her and reassure her when visitors are there so she knows it's okay and otherwise just give her time to grow and get used to it. Otherwise, consider only visiting with people outside your home and preferably in public places with open spaces like parks or if indoor that aren't too crowded. Walking around a shopping center is a good option, too.
Introvert =\= shy, if that’s what you’re saying. Its about what “drains your batteries”. You can love being around people, but understand it also exhausts you so you need alone time as well to recharge.
Introvert vs. extrovert is (in my understanding, perhaps I’m wrong) inherent in your personality and not something you can teach or change.
Pro
Extreme introvert here. In this case it just sounds like she's being overwhelmed and may not be specific to introverion. Try fewer people in a safe/comfortable setting for her to ease her in.
With that said, it saddens me that people seem to view introversion as a flaw to overcome vs just another identity with its own strengths. There are plenty of strong, incredible world leaders who are introverts. If your child does turn out to be more introverted, please read Susan Cain's novel Quiet. It is so damaging to an introvert's self esteem to grow up with parents who apologize and try to "fix" the fact that they aren't loud and outgoing. Speaking from experience.
