Product Manager or Technical Product Manager (TPM) would be a great fit for you.

You will have a better chance at TPM since you understand systems already.

I would shift your resume to emphasize a lot in product Manager and learn a bit more in PM day-to-day (especially learning how to plan our roadmaps and planning)

like

I would also recommend going to LinkedIn and see what other Product Managers are putting on their job duties to compare and use as guides to help you write your resume.

What does systems engineering mean? What do you do?

Change requests/management, requirements management, API endpoint checks, UI/UX testing and validation, data analysis.

I would reach out to PMs with a similar background to yours that are currently working in product, you can learn a lot from those coffee chats.

Systems architect? Database architect? Something in the enterprise world may interest you since it's a lot of planning, strategzing, and analyzing.

Why don't you do rocket science ?

Remote is rare and not many roles on east coast

Hi all,

Looking for some advice. I’m currently at a boutique consultancy in operational improvement, I’ve had 3 promotions, have 4.5 years experience, and am on a base salary of £78k (+ benefits and bonus). I’m looking to make a move to big 4 consulting and looking for advice on what grade to apply for and which teams would be a good fit. I saw S&O could be of interest, are there any others?
