Think about yourself being in that role, the actions you would take, and why you would take that approach based on your experience. Study the company and where they're currently focusing.

In your firms do you have to look for a role or is one assigned to you? I don’t like the whole “you need to find your own project” thing at Accenture especially with the CDO and C&M stuff.

when a recruiter reaches out to you for a role that’s a job title below your current title, what’s the professional way to tell them to go [bleep] themselves?

Your resume is the last thing you should work on in your job search. HR departments have software that filters 1000s of resumes based on keywords. Don’t waste hours finding keywords for your resume so an algorithm “picks” yours. Don’t stuff your LinkedIn profile with keywords and hope a recruiter “finds” you. Build relationships with hiring managers and hr recruiters at your target companies. You’ll have a better chance landing the job if the people who will hire you know you already.

May Someone please refer me to Analyst position in Accenture AI. Here is resume for your reference.

Independent Consultant interested in fulltime senior manager role. How should I proceed on this?

Something has been bothering me, but I feel guilty for thinking it. Basically I'm making about 20K more than my partner after I got a new job (annual salary before tax), because he decided to switch to software development later in life. He is about 31 now with a junior/intermediate developer position. I'm worried that he's too late in the game and will never catch up to his peers and even to me...I know I shouldn't think this way, but just can't help but worry im with someone who is too behind

How soon is too soon to leave a job? I applied for a bunch of different positions at once and accepted the best offer I received after interviewing. Fast forward three months and one of the companies that didn’t answer me initially reached out with an offer that is $75k higher than what I’m making in my current job. Feels really hard to pass the offer up but I don’t want everyone here to hate me…

Anyone have experienced difficulty in justifying one’s experience when moving from a non-commission role to a commission sales role?

Hiring senior copywriters. Not a ton of talented applicants right now. Weren’t there many people affected by the Covid-19 recession and out of work?

Got an offer for $220k base, 20% bonus, $40k RSUs, and $25k sign-on in NYC and almost 7 YOE. I feel like I can’t do any better than this so do I even bother negotiating? If I did negotiate, where should I push for more?

How should I tell a recruiter I’m really interested in the position she offered me, but I don’t want to recruit for another 6 months-1 year? I’m only a year into consulting and would ideally like to exit after 2-3 years in the job

People interviewing: someone please go to Reference Point consulting. They seem desperate! 😂😂😂😂😂

Not sure which bowl to post in but I need some advice on how to be a good ally. I was at CVS today picking up a few things and overheard an uncomfortable convo: an older white man probably in his mid-60s was at the checkout and asked the cashier if she was from Ethiopia. She said no and he asked where she was from. She replied Bangladesh and he started talking about how he never hears about Bangladesh in the news these days. There were a couple people in line behind the man but CONT.
