Advice needed: company I admire contacted me for an interview (PM/Program Manager role). They were acquired in the spring and no longer offer equity. The role is very much a role for a startup tho, think small team - lots to organize & scale. When i asked salary range they said it’s decided after interview process. What would you say is a reasonable salary to ask for?

Position is 5 YOE PM and Program Manager (i have 5.5 YOE in both). My spouse feels 150K is reasonable. I’m at 125k rn. Thoughts?

Started my career in industry and left after 10 yrs (as a manager) for a consultant role at a boutique. I am now a manager with 15 YOE and ready to move as I'm no longer developing from the work. I have a non-compete that prevents me from performing work for clients of my current firm should I move to another firm.

For associate director / director level media positions - is a 3-4 month interview period common?

Hello all, I am at the panel interview for the salesforce PA interview. I would really appreciate the help from the SF folks if they could provide some insights regarding the preparation and what topics/points I should consider for the presentation ?

I used to be in consulting but moved over to social impact two years ago. I found out I’m getting laid off EOM due to budget cut and I’m really sad. I really don’t have the motivation to apply for new roles, interview etc when usually I actually love that process. Also my role was well paid for nonprofit sector and looking at other roles in the space makes me realize I’m not going to get close to the same salary again. Considering consulting again but loved this job 1000% more. Advice?

Anyone regret going public sector? Currently interviewing to lateral to either another midsize firm or a state agency. I think I’ll get offers from both and am inclined to accept the state agency position… I would take a hefty pay cut but better WLB/ feel better about the work. That being said I’m fairly junior (class of 2018) and wonder if I should suck it up a few more years in private practice.

So I have been interviewing with a media agency for the past few weeks. From initial conversations to now, the offer has dropped $7k. When I asked why the offer had been lowered after I went through the interview process, they said it was because the team didn’t believe I had enough experience within a certain field. There is still 1 interviewer left to go. How would you proceed with this? Continue interviewing with the company, ask for an increase, walk, etc?
