I was assigned to be a lead for a project. So, I am supposed to manage about 2 to 3 other data analysts. I look young and usually people don't think I know as much as I do. Any ideas on how start off strong with this new project?

My senior rarely answers my initial emails/Skype messages/etc. Little background: He’s on another client so I know he’s likely busy but it makes it somewhat difficult to get things done. Any tips on how to manage this? It’s getting to the point where I feel like a pest/uncomfortable following up on unanswered messages. I’ve been compiling questions, utilizing other team members, communicating with managers, but there are some things that just need to go through him because he’s the senior.

After 4+ working in tech sales, I moved to Accenture in mid-May to join a new sales development program. Worried it was a step backwards but I was told during the interviews that while I won’t be on a commission plan, I can expect to “graduate” in about a year or two - although “based on my background” he saw no issues with me advancing quicker.
