I have a Consultant level (post-MBA) offer from MBB. I’m currently an Associate (soon to be Manager) at a blockchain VC, and was previously a Manager at a Tier 2/3 consulting firm. While I’m really happy in my current role and believe in the future of blockchain technology and get great investment opportunities, I feel this would be a great opportunity to get the MBB stamp of credibility, and the pay is significantly higher (2-3x). I find that the companies I’ve worked at have very set progression based on tenure, with no room for negotiation. Hey all - I’m interviewing for a role at a late stage, well funded financial services company. In my initial conversation with the recruiter we established that their compensation package was likely below what I would need to move but they mentioned for the “right candidate” they could make anything happen. I’m now on the third round and they want to schedule a super panel. How should I go back to the recruiter to ensure that this isn’t a waste of my time or theirs?
