I have a CPA license in Texas, and I’m thinking soon I’d like to return to my home state of Tennessee. I was thinking of applying for a reciprocal license pretty soon and keeping the Texas one until I eventually leave (plan is next 1-3 years). Any downsides to having two simultaneously other than paying fees to both states? Has anyone here done this before?
