Baby Professional here - I was just given the second half of a promotion into Tier 2 for my company, on course for a Tier 3 promo in the next 6mo to 1yr. It's a smaller company and I believe they are willing to pay to grow my talent as I've already done very well with deliverables and all metrics thrown my way.

My questions is how much do I ask for at the Tier 3 promotion? Since they divided the Tier 2 promo into two smaller rasies, I've landed at 55K. I want to ask for an appropriate amount.

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. How can I handle this situation without making her mad but also not letting her step all over me?

Something that no one is talking about. Taxes being due next week. There were big gains in 2019 that need paid for. Never a better time to sale at a profit now in other stocks to pay for the 2019 tax bill. On top of all other headline risks.
