I have received the OL from Boeing (DOJ not given). HR said there is a BGV & medical check only after that they'll proceed further. Its been 2 weeks now but i haven't got any update from them or any request to submit my documents. I have tried to contact HR but no response.

I have only given them my passport & current company's payslip at the time of salary nego.
Is it enough to do BGV with these documents. Any idea??

Paranoid I’m going to be fired for low hours. Had a busy October and hit hours, was very slow last month and was like 30 hours short of target, and have been sick with Covid this month and missed a solid week of work, plus we have the holidays coming up. I was hoping to avoid two consecutive slow months, but it seems inevitable. How worried should I be? Firm hasn’t laid off anyone yet …. Class of 2021 for reference

1YOE medical device NPI Lead looking for salary perspective

Mechanical engineering grad, joined a medical device startup that I had done co-ops at. 8mo into full-time, pivoted from engineering into more of an operations role doing new product introduction (NPI), now with 3 direct reports.

The combination of startup+medical device+NPI seems very unique and I'm struggling to find salary comparables. Currently making 75k but it feels very low given my new responsibility and impact. Any advice?

I am extremely burnt out. I went to my first trial a few weeks ago and it was two weeks of no sleep and constant berating by the lead counsel. The months leading up to that trial were also very intense. I need a break, but I don’t even know who to talk to about this. I work for a boutique so our HR department is only two people who don’t seem very helpful. But I also haven’t connected well with anyone at the firm (I started remotely during the pandemic). (FL) So I currently work in ID, storm claims etc., and would appreciate any advice the great people here have.

I have been practicing for about 1 1/2 years. My current case load is approx. 80-90 cases with very little supervision and a shared assistant. This is essentially impossible to keep up with and the pay is horrible.

I want out, but feel as though I’m an undesirable hire due to the above and I went to a bad law school. Is a recruiter the way to go? How do I transition out of ID?
