Take more time off work even if you're not in bed, you're still dealing with the fallout. Sick leave exists, as does long covid. Now is as good a time as any to take some time for yourself.
Your health (physical and mental) is more important to you and your kid than your client or employer. You are a replaceable cog to the latter two, who will replace you easily if you drop dead. Prioritize yourself.
Take some time off and hire help. Health and family first. Always

Do you have family that can come help you?
I think time off work is a good idea.
Unfortunately, no and I’m a single parent full custody. I do have good neighbors so that is a support area that I’ve been able to lean on.

Are you feeling overwhelmed and want a listening ear, or some suggestions to improve some area you’re struggling with? Apologies, don’t mean to sound insensitive, but I didn’t get what exactly you’re looking for. I do understand you feel overwhelmed and yes, that’s a lot that you’re going through right now.
Combo of both. I’m feeling lost and overwhelmed.

If your employer has an EAP, give them a call. Take care of yourself, as others have said.
Hope things get better quickly, sending good thoughts your way!
What dilemma? Don’t go back to work until you’re rested. You got COVID. No need to race back to the office. Your team is managing without you already.
I hope you and your family recover fully.
Take some time off and work on yourself and your family. I have 1 kid, and my wife and I both work. We both attempted to work through a COVID quarantine (thankfully no one was infected) and were absolutely exhausted. I can’t imagine doing that alone and with multiple kids
Sounds like you need more time off. I'd rather you take sick leave than try to muscle through.

My sympathies OP.
My read is you need to take more time off and prioritize getting you and your family well. We have ALL had coworkers get sick from covid, we know how to manage it.
Covid has some serious mental elements/ brain fog. Just best to get back to work again once you are healthy again
So I make accommodations from my organization and team to take a little time to recover. And I have for the most part.
My symptoms while I was ill (at least the ones I can remember) were severe inflammation in everything. Body aches? ✅ Low grade fever? ✅ Brain Fog? ✅
And I’m having issues with internet and cell service from time to time (slow improvements every day, thank god). I’m tired, overwhelmed and need someone to help me human correctly please. #AskingForHelp
