Option 2 more opportunity for growth.

I second this

You will have longer-term exit opportunities with #2. As long as you like the company/culture/manager, it would be my choice.

I've only been a full cycle recruiter so I don't have much experience with strategy or anything outside of recruitment. Would like to have some diversity in my career so that I have better options for the future. Which seems like a better opportunity here ?

It really depends on your personal career ambitions. They all 3 offer a different growth path. So the real questions are: - what ties into your Long Term vision for your career? - what are your non negotiables? - is your current skill set lacking in any areas that deliberately are addressed through these opportunities? Revisit your strategic growth plan/desires.

Open 2. Waaay more opportunity for growth and you'll get so much experience dipping your hanfs into multiple pots. Are a couple yeats, move on, and ask for 85k+.

Option 2 is definitely better and please remember, you can negotiate. 🙂

Don't do RPO if you have the option to be in house. Option 2

Option 2. A permanent, in-house position will position you better for future management positions, which is really where the advancement opportunities are (unless you are both really good at headhunting and can see yourself only doing that long-term). Plus working remotely and the small chance that the software company could grow exponentially are the icing on the cake. Option 3 only makes sense if you’re in between jobs, school, etc. Since it’s at maximum for 6 months, the offer is really only worth $45k max.

Encouraging WFH is not the same as making it mandatory. People who “take the option” of WFH will be frowned upon. Meanwhile “encouraging WFH” alleviates the liability of the agency. Don’t fall for it.

I feel like I need a career coach because I am considering switching jobs but I don’t know where to go or where to start. I feel really overwhelmed and don’t know what I’m qualified for. I know we all love the work from home (or do we?) but does anyone actually miss traveling for their consulting engagements and all the fun that goes along with it? The late nights at the office then the bar and random hookups and excitement and all that? Sure it’s a grind but I think I actually miss it too. Maybe I just miss seeing people at work or seeing people at all. I wonder if we’ll ever get back to that.

Need to move to the burbs w/fiancee, but where? Staying in BK is not an option, though we will eventually work in the city 1-2 days/week (someday?). Won't do long island, need a 2 car garage w/space to work on cars and also space for a woodshop whether it's in basement or elsewhere. Planning on having kids and because we'll work from home a lot still need office space. I grew up in burbs and it wasn't so bad because I lived walking distance to train station into the city & nice downtown. 800k!

I used to be a top performer before rona but have been so unmotivated for the last year of WFH and my performance is tanking because of it. I know some people love this life but I absolutely hate it; I chose audit because I enjoy being onsite at clients and thrive on the team camaraderie of audit rooms. WFH was okay at first, but the longer I'm stuck sitting at the same desk in my house alone all day the more meaningless everything feels to me. I don't know what the solution is, but I'm so tired
