I have a dormant side hustle on with career transition and job hunting in banking. As some background, I've been in banking for several years, separately trained as a life/career coach, and freelanced for a CV/resume writing company for three years. I'm not ready to build out the hustle just yet (so I'm not pitching for business). But I want to ask, beyond interview training, what kinds of products and services would you find useful?

I had my two or three interviews, got an offer for a role at an university, I accepted and am “ hired” . But they’re still checking references . Does that make sense ? I got a update that one of my references did not work out. I provided two other references that I don’t know if they’ll give great reviews due to them being petty. Is it a high chance that they can take the offer away if I don’t meet the requirements for my references ?

People who have interviewed with google in the past but did not get an offer. Did google recruiters ever reach out to you afterwards? I’m in a situation where I already accepted an offer from another company and google came back saying I passed to the last interview round. Even though google is my dream/end goal job, I decided to walk away from the opportunity. I was wonder if anyone ever got contacted by the recruiters later on after failing/withdrawing the interviews?
