I have a final interview for a company in the Bay Area. It’s an entry level role and was told it would be $26. I have spoken to other employees and agree with this pay. But other companies pay around $29 for the same role title. Should I negotiate the $29 salary although it’s an entry level role and don’t have any experience?

Is it worth contacting the hiring manager for a job posting? Or would it actually backfire if you don't have any mutual connections? Currently thinking about a move to industry, but only have public practice experience

Ok, so I have a couple of offers, one kind of lackluster, for the County. The other is for a credit union-I left credit unions a few years ago to join a FinTech supporting credit unions)
I was laid off last month and have had a flurry of interviews…this credit union offer is my favorite so far, I do have another offer I’m waiting for from another tech company which has a much higher salary range, but nothing is written in stone.
Should I counter? The offer is $95k for a project manager.

I'm a rising senior looking for new-grad roles. I'm looking to go into PM long term. My current internship has an APM role that for many teams is more of a PO role, but still has the PM title and product-facing opportunities.

I also have the chance to go into MBB as a consultant. While the APM role is obviously more relevant, I'm concerned that the tech reputation and bad Product culture will make it not worth it to turn down MBB.

DO NOT accept less than you feel you are worth! A good employer will rise up to meet your expectations.

Hi all! I recently received an internship offer doing data science/statistics with the Peace Corps. I’m extremely interested in the applications of data science and statistics within the public policy and research sects and this would be a good professional opportunity for me. However, I am quite aware of how problematic the Peace Corps is (i.e. white saviorism). Is it better to gain professional experience in a place I don’t support or reject the offer? I’ve struggled with landing other offers.
