Hi, How are exit opportunities for Deloitte (and other Big4) employees? Do we get good hike due to Deloitte/big 4 brand name, or calls from foreign companies? Should I stay in Deloitte due to its brand name or just move to new organization because of higher CTC? Yoe: 5 Cctc: 17.5 lpa EY Deloitte PwC KPMG

Any good exiting opportunities for h1b holders?
"Risk hai, to Ishq hai", is an invalid statement in the context of real life relationship of a common man.
The correct statement should be opposite, "Ishq hai, to risk hai".
Ishq comes with lots of risk like "family nahi manegi", "caste different hai" etc.
"Risk se ishq" is only suitable for adventures professionals like stunts man, surgeons, surgical strike commandos, encounter specialists etc.

I have an interview for a TPM role at Apple where we will explore “how I have worked cross functionally with ‘highly technical teams’”. Beyond this, is there any advice on the minds of experiences and examples that align with Apple's values?
I have been a cross-functional people manager who collaborated with technical teams in the past though I wouldn’t describe myself as technical through any sort of training.
He may want to consider quitting his job. Some people go into overdrive mode when they have no source of income and that may get him motivated to actually leetcode. It's tough, I've been leetcoding for a year after work everyday and I'm finally close to feeling confident for FAANG interviews.
Is he motivated? There's a shortage of devs out there, so if he wants, I'm sure he could make it happen. Pick up some gigs to build his credibility and then work his way up through small companies
Not sure what's the latest, but I remember hearing people do Upwork. There's toptal, which might be testing based - which would be good if your friend studied and prepped. Probably also dependent on what type of development he's wanting to do. e.g. AWS has their own marketplace of freelancers
Sheesh since 2017? I don't know, this might not be the field for him. Where is he working as a supervisor?
Yes I am aware
How does one not find a job after 4 years in this field? There’s gotta be more to this story.
I dont know. He's been looking infrequently, and I think he tends to bomb interviews.
I think at this point employers must be assuming he sucks because he hasn't found a job in a long time
I hit this same status when I graduated. I have to agree with A1 that grinding it out and working gigs for a while is the best way to get back on the horse
How should I recommend he find gigs?
After reading some of the responses on this thread, I think he needs help with interview prep etc more so than the coding skills. I mean the bootcamp might help, but if he can't be personable enough in the interviews and/or communicate skills, it's not gonna work
Thanks, I'll try to get him to do a mock interview with me.
